A skill you know, an idea you want to share…

Let’s build together

We want to grow BenBiz through what each of us can bring. Making an app easier, a piece of writing clearer or bringing people around a table… One of these could be a place for us to start.

Let’s find a place that feels right for you.

Sometimes it starts with “I could help with that.”

You do not need to know everything or give all your time. We can start with a skill, a curiosity or a small thing you noticed. Before we begin, let’s discuss the work, the time you have and how your contribution will be recognised or paid.

There may be a part here for you.

These are the areas where different skills and experiences could help. Explore and follow one that feels close to you. These cards are not open calls yet; work with agreed terms appears under “Open now”.

Make the app easier together

We want people to find their way around BenBiz and complete an application with ease. You could help by writing code, designing screens or simply noticing where an app is hard to use.

Where could we start?

Try signing up or starting an application on your phone. Tell us where you wonder what to do next, and let’s choose a first improvement together.

How could I help?

A few notes about where you got stuck, an idea for a clearer screen or, if you have the experience, a small code fix. You do not need programming skills to try the app.

Make the first hello feel welcome

We want everyone who asks “Where do I start?” to find a reply. If you enjoy listening, introducing people and following things through, this may be a place for you.

Where could we start?

Let’s write a short message you would like a new member to receive. Then we can discuss how you might help and who will work alongside you.

How could I help?

A friendly welcome message and a simple plan for who replies and when.

Help our ideas make sense

When we write something, we can miss what another reader finds confusing. If you enjoy reading, research, writing or translation, you could help us explain BenBiz more clearly.

Where could we start?

Choose a short section of a guide. Start by pointing out an unclear sentence, a missing example or a fact whose source you would like to see.

How could I help?

A section that is easier to read, with an example, translation or source note where useful.

Help this invitation reach people

A story, a video or a connection you make might help someone discover how they can take part. If you create content or enjoy communication, let’s explore how you could tell these stories in your own voice.

Where could we start?

Choose a project and tell us who you would like to reach and how. Before making content, let’s agree on the work and its fee.

How could I help?

A short communication idea whose audience, format and terms we can discuss together.

ObaNova Living R&D Campus

If you work with soil, water, food or buildings, we would like to hear what you have learned. At ObaNova, we want to explore living in tune with nature through small trials. The location and first trial are still being researched.

Where could we start?

Start with something you know: how could we use less water or care for soil? Share your experience and what we might try on a small scale.

How could I help?

A short proposal grounded in experience and sources, with expert advice or permissions identified where needed.

Bring makers and people together

We want people to see the work behind a product and shop with confidence. If you make things, tell their stories or know how to get them packed and delivered, you could help prepare Store. Heritage seeds remain exchange-only.

Where could we start?

Look at a few real products together: who makes them, how are they described, are they in stock and how will they reach the buyer? Let’s identify what needs to be ready before sales begin.

How could I help?

A preparation list for 3–5 products, with producer details, clear descriptions and checks for stock, invoicing and delivery.

Make room for learning in Istanbul

A course needs people who bring the group together and find a place to meet, as well as educators. If you know a venue in Istanbul, enjoy organising or would like to support participants, let’s connect. Dates and the venue are not confirmed.

Where could we start?

Do you know a place for eight participants and two educators, with a large table, projector and projection wall? We could start by finding out its terms.

How could I help?

A venue suggestion with travel, availability and fee or contribution terms to discuss.

Help us agree the right terms

We want clear agreements about work, rights and responsibilities. If you work in law, accounting or finance, your expertise could help with contracts, invoicing, payments and personal data.

Where could we start?

Let’s look through one preparation file together and identify the questions to answer and the work that needs professional services.

How could I help?

A short note setting out the questions and scope of service. Professional qualifications and terms are confirmed separately.

Let’s start by getting to know each other

We can start with something small.

Tell us what you enjoy, what you have done and where you might help. A small example can introduce you better than a long CV. Some work needs specialist experience; other work can start with a thoughtful eye and a willingness to learn. Each call will make that clear.

Your time and effort matter.

Before we start, let’s discuss what you will do, who you will work with, the time you can offer and the terms. Every call should be clear about paid work, volunteering or partnership.

Read the participation and compensation terms

Applying or being accepted does not automatically create a task, circle membership, voting rights, seller access, pay or a share. Paid work requires an agreed scope and fee before production, with no unpaid trial work. Volunteering carries no promise of future economic rights.

Paid project work
Scope, delivery and fee are agreed before production.
Voluntary contribution
A freely chosen, bounded contribution with no promise of future pay.
Core responsibility
Work, time, responsibilities and any compensation are defined for the particular call.
Occasional expert input
The scope of input is stated; professional services require qualification checks and an agreement.
Mentoring
Work, time, responsibilities and any compensation are defined for the particular call.
Production or business partnership
Authority, risk, responsibilities and terms require a separate agreement.
Institutional collaboration
Authority, risk, responsibilities and terms require a separate agreement.
Local / field support
Work, time, responsibilities and any compensation are defined for the particular call.
Research and co-authorship
Work, time, responsibilities and any compensation are defined for the particular call.
Initial conversation
An initial conversation is not a work agreement.

If you are wondering…

Do I need to be an expert?

Each call is different. Some need professional qualifications, some experience, and some openness to learning. Required and preferred skills are listed separately.

Is the work paid or voluntary?

Every call states its participation mode. If a budget is still being prepared, we say so; that is not a payment promise. You are not expected to begin production before discussing and agreeing the terms.

What happens after I apply?

An authorised coordinator reviews your application and may ask a question or propose a conversation within the same record. The outcome includes a reason. Pending records remain in the coordination queue; there is currently no guaranteed response time.

What if another area is suggested?

You read the other call and choose whether to apply separately. Your application and private information are not automatically transferred to another project.

Can I withdraw?

Yes. Use My applications to withdraw. Any task or agreement already arranged separately is handled through its own process.

Will work be paid in BenAkçe or BenGram?

These calls make no such payment promise. At this stage BenAkçe and BenGram are not pay, spendable balances or ownership of gold.

I have an idea or invention. How should I share it?

If you have an invention or R&D idea, first tell us only what problem it addresses and what kind of collaboration you seek. You do not need to share drawings, formulas or technical secrets. Ownership, use, intellectual property and confidentiality should be agreed before details are exchanged.

Who will see what I write?

Your application is visible only to you and coordinators authorised for that area. Private matching preferences are used only for your own suggestions, not a people directory or advertising. Do not upload identity, banking, tax or confidential technical documents. You can withdraw an application and clear preferences by switching them off. Request deletion within your application or at iletiselim@benbiz.com.tr.
