When one person’s idea meets another’s skills, time or resources, something new becomes possible. BenBiz turns that connection into a fair, open way of working together.
Our first education project is in preparation. The member app is in a limited pilot.
Not everyone brings the same thing. We complement each other.
Every person matters equally.
✦
Every contribution deserves clarity.
BenBiz, in brief
You don’t have to carry a good idea alone.
BenBiz is a community and a way of working that brings people’s skills, effort and resources together around a shared need. We call these small working groups “solidarity circles”. The aim is not just to gather, but to create something together, with responsibilities and compensation discussed from the start.
Imagine a simple example
We want to organise an education programme.
The educator is ready, but a venue, outreach and organisational support are missing. One person offers a space, another helps with promotion, and someone else coordinates participants.
01
Identify the need
We establish what is ready and what is still missing.
02
Agree on the work and terms
Who will do what? What are the fees, expenses and responsibilities?
03
Review the outcome together
Work and contributions are recorded, so we can learn from experience.
This is an illustrative example, not an open assignment or an income promise.
Where would you like to start?
Start with curiosity. Or with something to contribute.
You don’t need to read every document or join the app to understand BenBiz.

Explore how we work, the principles we share and the project in preparation.
Solidarity does not mean unpaid labour. We aim to make the need, each person’s responsibility and the terms of their contribution clear when we work together.
01
Define a shared need
Write down the purpose, available resources and what is missing.
02
Agree on tasks and terms
Discuss the scope, time, expenses and any payment before work begins.
03
Record each contribution
Document completed work and its evidence. People review and approve the assessment.
04
Review results and improve
Track entitlements under the agreed terms. Carry questions, objections and lessons into the next project.
Where are we today?
In preparationIstanbul · Üsküdar is the priority
Starting with an education project in Istanbul.
We are preparing our first working group around the educational experience of Şeref Gökmen and Elif Özcan. We want to test the method through a real project by bringing together venue, outreach and organisational support.
The programme, venue, schedule and participation terms will be shared as they are confirmed. Education is our starting point for learning and practice, not the limit of BenBiz.
Introducing BenBiz, working together, shopping and making payments are different activities. We keep each area’s role and current stage visible.

A future marketplace connecting producers, products, services and buyers.

Contribution and payment tools
Contribution records, entitlements, payments and any future gold backing are separate concepts. BenAkçe and BenGram are not currently available payment tools.
On the roadmap
BenBiz Store
Know the work behind what you buy.
We want to create a marketplace where buyers meet producers, with a clear picture of the product’s story, the terms of a service and the work behind it.
Planned · Not open for sales
Different kinds of production. People supporting one another.
For buyers
Clear product information, total prices, delivery and returns, with accessible support.
For producers
A place to present products and services and track orders and payment status.
For contributors
Production, outreach or organisational work recorded under terms agreed in advance.
The first sales stage is planned around Turkish lira and integration with an appropriately licensed payment provider. Opening the Store does not depend on completing future digital value tools.
What defines us is not special terminology, but how we treat people, their work and our shared responsibilities. We want people of different ages, cultures and experiences to find a place here.
01
Human dignity
Our resources and contributions may differ. Our worth as people is equal.
02
Respect for work
Voluntary contributions, paid work and reimbursement are kept distinct.
03
Open decision-making
The reasons for decisions, who is responsible and how changes happen should be understandable.
04
Care for personal information
Transparency does not mean making everyone’s personal details public.
Introductions, explanations of the method, practical examples and notes on the digital structure are collected in one reading area. Start with a short route or explore the original documents.
Detailed resources are currently in Turkish. Original documents are preserved; translations will be added in stages.
You might be wondering
Simple questions, clear answers.
Do I need to contribute money to take part?+
You do not need to pay to learn about BenBiz or express interest. Participation in a project depends on its needs, your role and terms agreed in advance. Knowledge, effort, time and space can also be contributions.
Is all the work voluntary?+
No. Volunteering, paid work and contribution-based entitlements are treated separately. The terms of each task should be clear before it begins.
Can I join the app right away?+
The app is currently in a limited, invitation-only pilot. If you are not a member, you can express interest through the contact option below. This does not automatically create membership or guarantee acceptance.
Can I buy from the Store today?+
Not yet. The Store is in planning. Sales will not open before producer onboarding, payment, delivery and return processes are ready.
Do I need to buy BenAkçe or BenGram?+
No. The future tools discussed under these names are not available yet. You do not need to buy them to learn about BenBiz or express interest. No gold backing or conversion commitment is being offered.
Can people outside Türkiye get involved?+
Yes. BenBiz is developing an approach open to the world. The home page is available in Turkish and English; resources and the pilot app are currently mainly in Turkish. Participation terms are defined separately for each project.
