The essence of this text

An honest “I cannot do this for now” is more trustworthy than an unsustainable “I will always be here.”

This English guide is based on the source document and also states how BenBiz works today. It does not present older examples, terms or technical assumptions as current rules. The unchanged original remains available as a Turkish PDF.

01

Belonging does not erase limits

Participation does not mean everyone gives the same amount of time or does the same work. Family, health, livelihood and professional responsibilities are parts of real life. A healthy circle lets people describe honestly what they can carry.

A concrete contribution states what will be offered, how much, for how long, under which conditions and when it will be reviewed. A mutually understandable commitment replaces a vague promise of support.

02

Partnership includes the right to criticise

Founding work and resource contributions are recognised, but they do not create unlimited authority over every future decision. Real founding work means building a fair order that also binds its founders.

An objection or another proposed path is not disloyalty. In disagreement, discuss conduct, the affected right, the record and the principle rather than attacking personalities. Independent review may be needed; the outcome and its reasons are kept on record.

03

Concrete outcomes from the first meeting

The entire ecosystem need not be complete before work begins. A limited team and working period can form around one real need. A meeting should end with agreed outputs, not excitement alone.

  • A one-sentence shared purpose and the principles to protect.
  • Resources already available and needs still open.
  • Contribution proposals with a role, duration and limit.
  • Temporary responsibility holders and a decision method.
  • A first working period and a review date.

Reflect together

What real contribution can you carry in this circle, with which limit and responsibility?

Form your own answer first. Then identify where explanation, objection or a new practical test is needed.
