Joining BenBiz

If you only want to look around, the Guest area needs no account. It shows the idea behind the application, public projects and illustrative working records. It creates no personal record or message.

If you want to leave a note on the website or in the Reading Area, follow open circle developments or later take responsibility, become an Explorer Member with your own e-mail and password. If you already have an account, continue through Member sign-in.

• Explorer Member: a BenBiz identity, personal profile, website and Reading Area contributions, and open developments.
• Circle member: the private workspace of a circle that has approved you.

Once you confirm your e-mail, your BenBiz account and profile are ready. Without belonging to a circle or holding an active task, you may send a question, correction, objection, experience, wording proposal or source about the website or any current Reading Area guide. Explorer Membership is also enough to contribute to ObaNova’s development.

You can see the purpose, preparation state and needs that open circles share with everyone. Other members’ private details, private messages, task conversations and internal decisions do not appear in the Explorer Member area.

When you want to approach a circle, choose “Take responsibility” or “Join a circle”. Briefly introduce yourself and explain the area that draws you, what you hope to make or learn, what you can offer and how much time you can carry.

You do not need to arrive with a finished project. Knowledge, work, time, a place, equipment, relationships or a need can be a beginning. What you share completes your profile and reaches only the relevant coordinator’s review desk.

Your request enters the coordinator’s Welcome Desk. The coordinator may ask a question inside the application, and you answer in the same record. Your Explorer Member access remains open while the conversation continues.

If the request is approved, only the selected circle’s workspace opens. If it is declined or considered too early, you see the reason while keeping your Explorer Membership and content-contribution access. You may withdraw an open request.

Your password belongs only to you; no coordinator can see it. Each circle makes its own membership decision, and approval in one circle never grants silent access to another.

A participation request is not a promise of membership, work, income, a score, entitlement or payment. It does keep your word from disappearing: you can follow the request state, any question and the reasoned outcome from your own account.

Open “Build Together” in the website menu or “Find where you can contribute” on the homepage. Explore digital development, community, the shared library, visibility, ObaNova, Store, education and professional expertise.

An area on the map does not necessarily have an open role. Preparation areas and open calls are separate. When a call is open, read the first task, time commitment, participation mode and terms. Sign in to describe your contribution and time boundaries.

Following an area does not submit an application. A draft stays private until you send it. The first app walkthrough and welcoming texts are coordination drafts; they become real calls only after verification and a separate opening step.

If the call changes while you complete the form, your text is preserved. Read and confirm the current time commitment, participation mode and terms before sending. Continue a saved draft through “Review terms and complete draft”.

Enable participation preferences only if you want to use them. Connections between your chosen skills, interests, location, work preferences and a call are explained; people are not scored or ranked. Disabling preferences clears that preference record.

Experience, availability and scope are discussed through human review. Paid work, volunteering, expert support and partnership have different terms. A budget being prepared is not an approved budget.

Acceptance does not automatically grant circle membership, a task, voting rights, income or payment. Agree responsibility and compensation separately; arrange membership and a task in the existing circle where needed.

Use the “Build Together” shortcut at the top of the app, then “My applications”. The same record shows status, coordination replies and conversation history. New messages and status changes also appear at the notification bell; opening one leads to the application.

If a conversation time is proposed, reply in the application. If another call is suggested, review its terms yourself; your private information is not transferred automatically. Withdrawing an application does not erase all its records.

The first trial aims to agree and complete one small task, discuss difficulties and bring learning into the guide without sharing personal information. A success story needs a completed real participant trial first.

In the application, open Projects → Share an idea and create a circle, or Profile → Circle ideas and establishment. You can plan a purpose, needs and team and save a private draft.

Save your draft and submit it for establishment approval. General coordination reviews the idea and may request more information. After approval, establish the circle through your own account.

Establishment grants coordination authority within that circle. It does not grant control over other circles or general coordination.
